Beverly Steel supplies various origins of high quality EH36 shipbuilding and temporary impotence offshore structural steel plate in South East Asia Region, with the specification ASTM A131: Part 4 and produced according to the regulations of Classification Societies listed below to meet all the highest safety and quality standards with strictly 100% success rating.
• ABS - American Bureau of Shipping, USA (ABS EH36 ; AB EH36)
• LR/LRS - Lloyd's Register of Shipping, Great Britain (LR EH36 ; LRS EH36)
• GL - Germanischer Lloyd , Germany (GL-E36)
• DNV - Det Norske Veritas, Norway (NV E36)
• BV - Bureau Veritas, France (BV EH36)
• RINA - Registro Italiano Navale, Italy (RINA EH36)
• RMRS - Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Russia (RMRS E36)
Application:
EH36 Steel plate is widely used in the shipbuilding industry both in hull construction and in the superstructure itself. This shipbuilding grade is used in the cabin structures of cruisers and ships, construction structural parts of the ships, Barges, Marine Equipment, Ice-Breakers, Ice-Going Vessels, Container Vessels, Bulk Cargo Vessels, Ferries and Yachts in addition to Offshore Structures and Pressure Equipments.
Tolerances
Tolerances on dimensions and shapes
Heavy plates and cut lengths with sheared edges:
• Thickness tolerances EN 10029 Class B.
• Width, length and pet health rx flatness: EN 10029.
# It is possible to agree on tighter tolerances prior to ordering. #
Surface quality
Heavy plates are delivered in asrolled or shopprimed condition.
• The surface quality of heavy plates meets EN 101632.
Cut lengths are delivered in asrolled condition or pickled condition.
Prefabrication services
Wide flats from plate and strip
Wide flats from plate and strip are dimensionally accurate and ready for assembly. Wide flats speed up the manufacturing process of steel structures and avoid wastage of material.
Flat cut shapes
Flat cut shapes will decrease the through out time of installation. Customer will receive the components ready for installation so that unnecessary material and storing costs can be avoided.
The products can be delivered as shop primed, bevelled and bent conditions
Bevelling
Precision cut lengths and precision cut plates with a bevelled edge are components that can be delivered directly to the installation site, which saves time and reduces transport and storing costs. The dimensionally accurate groove ensures uninterrupted automated welding and fitting.
Bent plate products
Bent plate products are components that are ready to be delivered to the installation site, easing the work scheduling inconveniences, transport as well as storing costs. The products can be ordered as shopprimed condition; furnished with welding bevels, cut to shape, premarked & matchmarked markings to facilitate installation.
Processing instructions
All the shipbuilding steels and pressure vessel steels have good weldability and bendability, other workshop properties correspond to those of structural steels of same strength class.
Inspection document
In accordance with the regulations of the Classification Societies, a valid Mill Sheet and Test Certificate stating materials testing results and chemical analyses results will be provided for shipbuilding steels. The closest equivalent inspection document to this certificate in the EN 10204:2004 is inspection certificate 3.2.
• The inspection document for offshore steels (EN 10225) is in accordance with EN 102043.1.
• Offshore steels can also be delivered by the acceptance of the Classification Society.
• General delivery information for hotrolled steels
• General delivery information for hot rolled steels can be found from documents Markings
and packing, Ultrasonic testing and General terms of sale.
